Vertushinki are tiny forest spirits, just a bit larger than a pea. Don't confuse them with fairies: they have no wings. And their magic is quite mundane: embroidering blooming meadows, setting tiny boats off to sail, drawing frost patterns on windows... Vertushinki live near a small river, and in November they hibernate, only to wake up with the first snowfall. They promise to share their greatest secret with the most attentive and patient readers.
