When 9-year-old Elliot arrives at the house, he easily finds a common language with unusual neighbors, who, as it turned out, are not alien to anything human. Kind ghosts quickly take custody of the boy: they help him with his homework, prepare food and play with him. Elliot's always busy parents have no idea and hire another nanny for the boy.
