In winter, the world becomes different - white, motionless, cold. There are snowdrifts and ice all around, and where apples grew, snow now grows. Only Moomintroll is not supposed to know all this. Because from November to April, all decent Moomin trolls sleep and dream. But it just so happened that this winter Moomintroll woke up and could not go back to sleep. At first, the winter world seemed alien to him and even somehow wrong. But Moomintroll saw snow, met Too-tikki, who settled in her father's bath, met the Ice Lady, rode down the hill and even visited the very heart of a snow storm. And surprisingly: the winter world turned out to be no worse than the summer one. Moomintroll was the first Moomintroll to truly live for a whole year. At least for this it was worth waking up in the middle of winter!
