Lucky Luke" is one of the three most popular Franco-Belgian comics in the world.

lucky Luke is a charming and fearless lonely cowboy from the time of the conquest of the American Wild West. He is a real hero, and even a superhero, honest and fair, a defender of all the weak and helpless. He always stands on the side of the law, helping local authorities resist bandits and other villains. Like a true superhero, he has his own superpower: to shoot faster than his own shadow!

Each story about Lucky Luke is an exciting and highly educational comedy western, which reflects real events associated with the exploration of the Wild West. In "The Prairie Road", Lucky Luke is assigned to oversee the construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad. He faces a journey full of dangerous adventures across America - through vast prairies, high mountains, deep canyons and hot deserts. Luke and the road builders will have to face Indians, bandits, and local residents who do not want to admit that the “iron horse” is progress. Of course, Lucky Luke comes out of all troubles with honor. He completes the construction of the road, but instead of enjoying the triumph and honors, he mounts his faithful horse, Johnny Jumper, and rides off into the sunset, singing the sad song of a lonely cowboy. New adventures await him ahead!
Comics about Lucky Luke are designed for a wide audience. Both children and older readers will be delighted with the adventure plot outline, masterly caricature drawing, good irony and humor in literally every frame. The humor, usually based on wordplay and sitcom principles, never falls below the belt. And despite the fact that the heroes are constantly waving pistols and doing bang-bang, there is neither rudeness nor violence in these stories. The main character shoots only to deftly knock the weapon out of the hands of his opponents with a well-aimed shot. And opponents, naturally, always miss. It's safe to say that no characters were harmed in any of the stories. Except for the bruises and bumps that negative heroes deservedly receive from time to time.
