The book about Asta was born from the stories that Kristina Kretova told in the evenings to her eldest daughter Asya. The tale of the girl Asta, endowed with the magical ability to travel with the wind, existed for a long time only in the family circle. When a lot of stories accumulated, Christina asked her close friend of the artist Natalya Romankova to illustrate these adventures. According to the author and illustrator, their children have become the main critics of the stories, and they hope that other children will also like these sincere, kind and instructive adventures of a little traveler.
