When folding a sheet, you make dozens of coordinated movements: hold the sheet, start folding it from a certain point, iron the fold line.
The sooner the child masters this skill, the more successfully he will be able to master the application, paper modeling, origami, he will be more accurate in working with any materials.
Parts of the image are located on different sides of the sheet, and at first it is not so easy for a child to guess where certain pieces will end up, even with a simple bend of the sheet. The tasks are gradually becoming more difficult, in the most advanced notebooks, even adults are not always able to immediately understand how to fold the sheet to get an image.
In a notebook to create a drawing, you must already make three folds. Here it is necessary not only to accurately bend along the dotted line, but at the same time solve a logical puzzle: in what particular sequence do you need to bend the pieces.
Having coped with the first picture, the child will be happy to bend the rest on their own.
