The fairy tale "Cinderella" is read with the same interest all over the world. The story of Cinderella is not unique, other authors have repeatedly retold this popular folk story, but it was Charles Perrault's version that became the most famous due to the uniqueness of the details, the refined and light image of Cinderella and the absence of motives of cruelty and retribution.
Fairy, godmother of Cinderella, helps and takes care of a poor girl who suffers from nagging absurd sisters and stepmother. In order for Cinderella to get to the ball, the fairy turns a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into footmen and gives her crystal shoes and a dress of indescribable beauty. (Charles invented all these fantastic elements himself; they were not in the folk interpretation of the tale). A handsome prince falls in love with the meek and beautiful Cinderella, and the lost glass slipper helps him find his chosen one.
All little girls who read the fairy tale "Cinderella" dream of being like the main character. The moral of the tale: kindness, modesty and responsiveness, forgiveness, hard work - these are the features that a girl must have in order to eventually marry a prince. The fairy tale teaches to forgive close people their misdeeds, and not to pay with the same coin and once again not complain about anything.
